Candy Cane Free Crochet Pattern

Happy Tuesday my fellow crafters!
My latest design, the crocheted Candy Cane, is the perfect little project to get you in the holiday spirit! It’s super easy to make and a great choice for beginner crocheters.
All you need is a bit of practice (and a pinch of patience!) to get comfortable with the continuous color change that gives the candy cane its signature striped look.
Usually, when our crochet work starts to twist, we try to fix it right away, but this time, that natural twist is exactly what we want! In this project, it’s what creates the classic candy cane swirl that makes it instantly recognizable and oh-so festive.
You can hang your candy canes on the Christmas tree, add them to a gift package, or even use them as part of your holiday table décor. They’re quick, satisfying, and so much fun to make - you might not stop at just one!
The free pattern is available right here on my blog, and if you prefer a little extra help, the paid version (available in all my online shops) includes step-by-step illustrations that show exactly how to:
Work the magic ring
Change colors smoothly
Finish with a neat and tidy edge
Crocheting for Christmas doesn’t have to be complicated — sometimes the simplest projects bring the most joy. So grab some yarn, put on your favorite holiday music, and let’s make something sweet together!
***You can purchase a downloadable AD-FREE PDF of the pattern - 4 pages with more than 20 step-by-step pictures, schematics and tips to guide you through the making process on
