Hello my friends!
Summer has officially started, and what better way to beat the heat than with some guilt-free, zero-calorie sweets?
As you can see, I have been busy whipping up a new collection of pocket-sized summer goodies! This fun little set features four distinct treats: a rich chocolate cone sprinkled with toppings, a striped cherry cone, a vibrant watermelon popsicle, and a fully loaded ice cream cup complete with a little waffle wafer.
While I have designed crocheted ice creams and popsicles in the past, I really wanted to create something miniature and versatile this time around. These little scoops are the perfect size to use as:
Bag charms or keychains to add a pop of color to your summer tote
Garland attachments for a playful kitchen or nursery decoration
Accents for a summer wreath or nursery mobile
They work up incredibly fast, making them the ultimate stash-buster project for all those colorful scraps of yarn you have lying around.
To celebrate the sunny season, I'm sharing the patterns for the Chocolate and Cherry Cones right here on the blog for free!
If you want to complete your summer collection and make the full set, the premium version is now available in my shop.
As always, the paid version of the pattern features a beautifully formatted PDF packed with more than 50 step-by-step illustrations, clear schematics and handy tips for working the stitches and mastering the techniques used in these designs.
Grab your favorite summer yarn shades, pull up a lawn chair, and let's get crocheting!
