Outer Space Finger Puppets

Hello my friends!

If you love functional, quirky, and absolutely adorable amigurumi, you are going to love my latest design! Meet Winnie the Crafter Snail, a tiny, helpful companion perfect for your craft room shelf.

Winnie might look familiar if you’ve followed my work for a while. She is the newest member of my snail family, joining Abigail, Martha, and Gale!

Like my previous snail designs, she has that signature sweet, cozy shape you all love, but with a brand-new twist. Instead of a traditional shell, Winnie's back features a cleverly rolled-up, bright yellow measuring tape! Besides looking adorable, the rolled tape measure also doubles as a practical pin or needle holder.

I had so much fun designing this ultimate sewing room buddy!

While the pattern below includes all the written steps you need to complete your snail, I know that some parts, like rolling the tape perfectly or closing the bottom side of the body, can be tricky to visualize.

If you prefer a cleaner, ad-free reading experience, I have put together a premium version of the pattern!

The Paid PDF Version Includes:

  • Over 40 high-resolution, step-by-step photos guiding you through every single stage of assembly, embroidery, and stitching.

  • Exclusive tips and tricks for mastering the specific stitches and techniques used in this design to ensure a flawless finish.

  • Print-friendly formatting so you can easily keep it in your project bag.

You can grab the premium, fully illustrated pattern over on my Etsy page! Supporting my shop this way helps me continue to design and share more patterns with our wonderful community.

I can't wait to see the colors you choose for your own Winnie!

Happy crocheting!
