I’m thrilled to introduce a new little friend to my amigurumi collection — meet Bianca!


Bianca is an avid reader who loves to spend her time at the library, completely immersed in a novel. With her tiny book in hand, she’s sure to inspire a love for reading in everyone she meets. I can’t wait for you all to meet her and follow her literary adventures!!

Head

With A make a magic ring.

Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in ring.

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around – 12 sc.

Rnd 3: * sc in next 1 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around – 18 sc.

Rnd 4: * sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around – 24 sc.

Rnd 5: * sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around – 30 sc.

Rnd 6: * sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around – 36 sc.

Rnd 7: * sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around – 42 sc.

Rnd 8: * sc in next 6 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around – 48 sc.

Rnd 9: * sc in next 7 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around – 54 sc.

Rnds 10 - 16: Sc in each st around – 54 sc.

Rnd 17: Sc in next 23 sts; with B, sc in next 5 sts; with A, sc in next 26 sts – 54 sc.

Rnd 18: With A, * sc in next 7 sts, sc2tog; rep from * twice, sc in next 4 sts; with B, sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts; with A, sc in next 5 sts, sc2tog, * sc in next 7 sts, sc2tog; rep from * twice – 48 sc.

Rnd 19: With A, * sc in next 4 sts, sc2tog; rep from * three times, sc in next st; with B, sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts; with A, sc in next 1 st, sc2tog, * sc in next 4 sts, sc2tog; rep from * three times – 40 sc.

 

Insert safety eyes between Rnds 11 and 12, approximately 8 sts apart.

 

Rnd 20: With A,* sc in next 2 sts, sc2tog; rep from * four times; with B, sc in next 2 sts, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts; with A, sc2tog, * sc in next 2 sts, sc2tog; rep from * three times, sc in next st, sc2tog – 30 sc.

Rnd 21: With A, * sc in next st, sc2tog; rep from * four times; with B, * sc in next st, sc2tog; rep from * twice, sc in next st; with A, sc2tog, * sc in next st, sc2tog; rep from * three times – 20 sc.

 

Fasten off, and stuff the Head.



Snout

With A make a magic ring.

Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in ring.

Rnd 2: 2 sc in next 2 sts; with B, 2 sc in next st; with A, 2 sc in next 3 sts – 12 sc.

Rnd 3: Sc in next 4 sts; with B, sc in next st, 2 sc in next st; with A, sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next st – 14 sc.

Rnd 4: Sc in next 4 sts; with B, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts; with A, sc in next 6 sts, 2 sc in next st – 16 sc.

Rnd 5: Sc in next 4 sts; with B, sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts; with A, sc in next 7 sts, 2 sc in next st – 18 sc.

Rnd 6: Sc in next 4 sts; with B, sc in next 5 sts; with A, sc in next 9 sts – 18 sc.

 

Fasten off and leave a strand to sew Snout to Head. Stuff the Snout.

 

With white thread, embroider curves along outer edges of safety eyes for white of eyes.

With black thread, embroider curves along upper edges of safety eyes for black of eyes.

With black thread, embroider curves above eyes for eyelashes.

With C, embroider straight lines on tip of Snout for Nose.



Ears (make two)

With A make a magic ring.

Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in ring.

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around – 12 sc.

Rnd 3: * sc in next 1 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around – 18 sc.

Rnd 4: * sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around – 24 sc.

Rnd 5: * sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around – 30 sc.

Rnds 6 - 10: Sc in each st around – 30 sc.

Rnd 11: * sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog; rep from * around – 24 sc.

Rnd 12: * sc in next 2 sts, sc2tog; rep from * around – 18 sc.

 

Fasten off and leave a strand to sew Ears to Head.





Inner Ears (make two)

With B make a magic ring.

Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in ring; do not close the ring – 6 sc; Turn.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc next st, sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st – 8 sc.

 

Fasten off and leave a strand to sew Inner Ears to Ears.

With A, sew Ears to Head, between Rnds 2 and 11.



Body

With A make a magic ring.

Rnd 1: Work 8 sc in ring.

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around – 16 sc.

Rnd 3: * sc in next 1 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around – 24 sc.

Rnd 4: * sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around – 32 sc.

Rnd 5: * sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * three times, sc in next 3 sts; with B, 2 sc in next 2 sts; with A, * sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * three times, sc in next 3 sts – 40 sc.

Rnd 6: With A, * sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * three times, sc in next 3 sts; with B, sc in next st, 2 sc in next 2 sts, 1 sc in next st; with A, sc in next 3 sts, * 2 sc in next st, sc in next 4 sts; rep from * three times – 48 sc.

Rnds 12 - 15: With A, sc in next 20 sts; with B, sc in next 8 sts; With A, sc in next 20 sts – 48 sc.

Rnd 16: With A,*  sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog; rep from * four times; with B, sc in next 8 sts; with A, * sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts; rep from * four times – 40 sc.

Rnds 17 - 20: With A, sc in next 16 sts; with B, sc in next 8 sts; With A, sc in next 16 sts – 40 sc.

Rnd 21: With A, * sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog; rep from * three times, sc in next st; with B, sc in next 2 sts, sc2tog, sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts; with A, sc2tog, * sc in next 3 sts, sc2tog; rep from * twice, sc in next 3 sts – 32 sc.

Rnd 22: With A, sc in next 13 sts; with B, sc in next 7 sts; With A, sc in next 12 sts – 32 sc.

Rnd 23: With A, * sc in next 2 sts, sc2tog; rep from * three times, sc in next st; with B, sc in next st, sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts, sc2tog; with A, * sc in next 2 sts, sc2tog; rep from * three times – 24 sc.

Rnd 24: With A, sc in next 10 sts; with B, sc in next 5 sts; With A, sc in next 9 sts – 24 sc.

Rnd 25: With A, * sc in next st, sc2tog; rep from * three times, sc in next st; with B, sc in next 5 sts; with A, * sc in next st, sc2tog; rep from * three times – 18 sc.

 

Fasten off and leave a strand to sew Body to Head. Stuff Body.

 

With A and B, sew Body to Head (make sure colored sections are in line with each other).




Front Legs (make two)

With B make a magic ring.

Rnd 1: Work 8 sc in ring.

Rnds 2 - 4: Sc in each st around – 8 sc.

Rnd 5: With A, sc in each st around – 8 sc.

Rnds 6 - 10: Sc in each st around – 8 sc.

 

Fasten off and leave a strand to sew Front Legs to Body. With A, sew Front Legs to Body.

 

Stuff Legs lightly.



Back Legs (make two)

With B make a magic ring.

Rnd 1: Work 8 sc in ring.

Rnds 2 - 8: Sc in each st around – 8 sc.

Rnd 9: With A, sc in each st around – 8 sc.

Rnd 10: sc in each st around – 8 sc.

Row 11: Flatten the last Rnd and work through both layers, sc in the next 4 sts – 4 sc; Turn.

Row 12: Ch 1, sc in the next 4 sts – 4 sc.

 

Fasten off and leave a strand to sew Front Legs to bottom part of Body.

 Stuff Legs lightly.



Tail

With C.

Row 1: Ch 30, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 28 chs – 29 sc; Turn

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in next 29 sts – 29 sc.

 

Fasten off and leave a long strand to sew Row 1 and Row 2 together (lengthwise), then sew Tail to back of Body.
