  • Capybaras Free Crochet Pattern

Hello my friends! I am so excited to share my latest design with you: Niko & Poku the Capybaras! There is just something so wonderfully calm and charming about these gentle creatures that I couldn't resist bringing them to my hook. This design is actually very special to me because it was inspired by a fun experience from my trip to Japan last year. While I was there, I had the chance to visit a capybara café! When I walked in, there were two capybaras just sitting comfortably on couches, patiently waiting for visitors like myself to feed them carrot slices. They were so unbelievably relaxed, lounging around without a care in the world.I knew right then that I had to capture that peaceful, cuddly vibe in yarn! Niko & Poku are my crochet take on those sweet animals! I am happy to share the written pattern for free right here on the blog so you can start stitching your own capybara buddy today! If you'd like to complete the look with the adorable little crochet carrots, plus get a fully illustrated PDF pattern - complete with 40+ step-by-step illustrations, detailed schematics, and thorough instructions - be sure to check out the premium pattern listed on my store page.
